Help please/QD for Klasse

What's a recommended QD for use with Klasse SG:



1 that will not strip/haze/damage it



2 will allow me to put another coat on, after a wash, w/o using AIO, i.e., no residue, film, etc.

I've used SONUS Acrylic Spritz on K SG and UPP with excellent results. GO WITH IT! SAS is also great for de-streaking SG spots where you get it on a little too heavily and/or don't get it wiped off very well.
 
I beleive they want to warn users that Acrylic Glanz is not a QD but a sealant booster. Not made to apply over any wax just there SG sealant, maybe any sealant just not wax. Acrylic Spritz is a QD.

If you top the SG with a carnauba I'd either use a carnauba based QD like EF Clear Pearl or a QD without polymers or carnauba like Adam's Detail Spray...both are awesome BTW!

As was mentioned before, Sonüs Acrylic Glanz is a booster product. It's made to restore the Acrylic finish from AIO and/or SG. QD products may have a bit of booster in them also, but they also have lubricants which allow dust and dirt to be removed without scratching your clear coat. Pure booster products do not have the necessary lubricants you need for QD.



NXT spray wax is another example of a booster product which should not be used for QD.
 
Once you wax, that is it for layering any more synthetics (SG, UPP, SONUS Acrylic Spritz). If you want synthetics after wax, it is back to AIO to strip everything off and begin again.
 
If you top your SG with a carnuaba topper, use any QD that is compatible with carnuaba. Excellent locally available products are Mother's Showtime, Meguiar's Final Detail and Final Inspection. Online product - Clearkote Quick Shine, 1Z Lackfinish (diluted), Sonus QD with carnuaba and PoorBoy's S&W.

Save the specific Klasse SG QD and $$ for the untopped SG enhancements.
 
Two thoughts:



1) Do you guys think that it would be OK to use Meguairs NXT spray on top of SG? I wondered about this the other day. I wouldn't put a layer of NXT sealent on top of SG, since it seems to have some cleaning abilities. But, I wondered about using the booster spray to enchance the existing shine.



2) I believe that Final Detail is no longer available. But, Final Inspection is a really nice detailer, if you need is primarily removing dust and finger prints (i.e., not enhancing shine). It works fine with Klasse.

This sounds like a pretty interesting idea. NXT spray wax has no cleaners that would affect the SG, so it sounds like it might be a good booster to use. Sonus Acrylic Glanz is the booster specifically made for acrylic protectants like Klasse.
