Well Im posting this because my mom went to palm spring for a conference and while on the way there. There was a sand storm, which damage her front windshield and both driver windows(Front and back). Including the chrome grill got damage. The Car is a New 08 Hummer(Which I have posted on here).

Here the pic's I got of the front window shield :

I used to be based in Palm Springs. That place cost me two new windshields for the same reason. I was driving an old body style Celica at the time, and it must have had pretty good aerodynamics, cause the windshield looked just like your picture, but the front end never suffered any damage.

Sheesh... good luck with this, man, hope you can find something that'll help. I know there's some windshield refinishing kits out there that have some serious abrassives/pads, but that windshield looks like it might be beyond what they can do.

Here are links to two kits:

Eastwood Co. - Glass Polishing Kit Pro

Eastwood Co. - Glass Polishing Kit For Deep Scratches

You can read the descriptions and decide if they might work for this situation. If they are "really tiny" like you say it might be possible, but glass is not an easy surface to polish defects from. You also have to be careful not to distort the glass when polishing with something like cerium oxide (common compound for glass defects).

I do windshield repair along with my other services. Can tell you frankly polishing windshields to eliminate small chips is a gigantic chore that when it's all said and done may or may not get the results you desire. Then there's the cost of stuff to do it with. If you feel you can use the stuff you already have, then that's another story. You might check with one of the reputable companies to make sure your polish will work for glass ok: Glass Technology 800-441-4527, Glass Mechanix 800-826-8523, or Delta Kits 888-811-3451

And P.S. Like the above poster said distorting the glass is a danger.

Sadly, I think your only bet on that is going to be an insurance claim.

I agree and this is why you have insurance. Make the claim for glass, paint, and whatever else was damaged.
