Help me with my detailing website...

SilverLexus

Super Enthusiast
I'm doing a new personal detailing website in Apple's iWeb. I've created some content and wanted to see if anyone here had comments on the major categories:

1. Welcome Page.

2. About Me.

4. Quick Overview of quality detailing process.

5. Detailed overview of detailing process.

6. Current recommended product listing.

7. Recommended sites.

8. Photo Gallery.

My goal is to create something for my neighbors and a local car dealership to reference when they get a new car as well as provide some tips & techniques for local area detailers on the enthusiast side.

Am I missing anything?

Any tips or advice you would include on such a site?

Thanks for the input. :)

I think you should include some of the information from some the Hall of Fame posts or the Little tips you've learned threads and add some of those tips on a tips page, things like roll your windows down a couple of inches to get the top of the window clean and on interior glass use side to side motions and on exterior glass use up and down motions becuase it makes it easy to tell what side of the glass smears or streaks are on.

Edited to change the content of the post.

Sounds good,

how about adding a section or sections describing major factors that harm the finish,

e.g. acid rain, sun, ..

and how good detailing can prevent them / increase value and life of the car.

Perhaps also some guidelines and how often to wash, wax, polish, clay, etc.

Personally, I think one thing that is lacking in many sites is how to best take care of your care if you are really strapped for time / money.
