usually when I do a paint correction, I experiment with different pads to see which suits the car best. im a lazy person and was wondering if there was any lists where people have already worked out whats best to use?
every detailer develops their own technique. Just like what bob said. What's best for me isn't going to be best for you. ( unless you're left handed and can use a buffing wheel backwards.) You have to learn your own style and combo's
Yea you have to put in the time because sometimes even the same exact car can have different paint, so it's always good to spend 20-30 mins, maybe an hour, experimenting to see what will work best. I always go with that quote of starting with the least aggressive method... even when doing a 3-4 step polish, I'll always start with something like SIP/white just to see how much it will fix
