Help me detail my black G35 coupe! PICS

I bought this used 2004 G35 coupe last May. It's been pretty badly neglected by the previous owner, and I'd like to do some decent correction - remove the swirls and water spots.

Remember, I've had this car for almost a year, so the water spots are older than that.

Here's what I own:

Porter Cable 7424 w/ 5" counter-weight

Backing plate for 4" pads

1 Yellow 4" pad

3 Orange 4" pads

1 White 4" pad

Menzerna SIP (sample of about 6 Oz)

Optimum Hyper Compound

Optimum Compound II

Optimum Polish II

Some other things I bought before finding this site:

Megs Ultimate Compound

ScratchX 2.0

Turtlewax Rubbing Compound

Turtlewax Polishing Compound

So what I'm asking from you guys, with what I have, what combination of pads and polish do you THINK I should try for the pics below?

I'm not sure if OHC and/or the yellow pad are too harsh.

(All the white in the last pic I believe is due to rock chips. I'm not sure what the easiest way to fix that is, and how so much even got there)

My car looks about the same as yours does right now. I would start with Menzerna SIP and White pad, If its not cutting it enough move to an orange. But yellow might have to much cut for your situation.

Thanks guys. So you don't think I should use the Optimum products (I ask this because I don't have much SIP).

I've noticed a lot of people recommend SIP on various pads. Is it that effective? Should I even waste my time trying the Optimum stuff I bought?
