HELP ...I need pad's

The last 4 polishing pads I got lasted 1 time and after i washing the backing peeled off. Not to impressed since I was told it had "INDUSTRIAL" adhesive on it . I have a PC and have been using 6" pad's from Meg's / CMA and this other company who shall remain nameless. The meg's were good , the CMA's I did'nt like because of the concave ans smaller size.

Who make's a good line of pad's 6.5" or larger for the PC ??

I need to order a bunch soon as I have car's to do "SOON"

Personally, I don't care for the 6" concave LC pads.

The 6.5" LC pads are better & I've had no problems with adhesive failure after washing the pads over 1/2 dozen times.

The 7.5" variable contact LC pads have better velcro backing & I prefer these over the 6" & 6.5". Easy to use & no discernable wear that I can see.

CMA is carrying the new 7.5" constant pressure version of the variable contact pad and, IMHO, I think they're worth looking into but I haven't used one yet.

Seems like you might have answered your own question. :)
Meguiar's pads have worked good for me and because of that, I have never purchased any other brands.

I'm with Charles on this one. If Meg's pads are working well for you, buy them!

If using a DA, take a look at the flat Sonus pads from the Autopia store, as another option.

Also, not flaming you, but you might want to look at how you are cleaning the pads. I own LC and Sonus pads and have had no problems with separation (using PC and washing by hand with dawn).

Good luck with whatever you decide!

I have both the Edge and SONUS pads. I haven't used the EDGE ones yet, but the SONUS ones I have used (actually, ONE -- I've only used the Orange cutter for SSR's) clean easy, look nice, stay on the PC perfectly, and are well-constructed. They say they're good for 10 uses but I think they'll last alot more than that -- I've used mine 5 or 6 times and it still is at about 99% efficiency.
