I have a question from a friend who owns a 1999 Honda Oddesy van. Just wondering how to fix peeling clear coat on his van. Can it be spot-repaired, or do we need a new paint job? I've searched on the net and I found where this is a very common problem for 90's hondas. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Would any type of detailing products help?

If you want to save money, you can just have the affected panels painted, but other than that....

I agree w/ everybody else. Repaint. Exposed basecoat will start to oxidize and fade fast.
