I purchased these drying towels over a year ago and now I don't remember where I purchased them at what brand they are. Can someone identify them for me??

That's the Excel Monterey WW if it measures 25 x 35:

Excel Monterey Waffle Weave Drying Towel

The same identical towel is also available at a few other places like PakShak (the ultra soft WW), but Excel usually has the best price.

Those are my favorite WW drying towels and since I have a whole stash they're easy to recognize.

just to add to what Eliot Ness said^, the ultra-soft waffle weaves are the only ones i use. the regular ones are just a tad too hard for my liking...

What brand and where do you like to get your Ultra-Soft Waffle Weave? Reason I ask is I'm in the market and need to replace some that I have.

as provided with the link by Eliot Ness above... Exceldetail carries them (the cheapest in price around), as does the autopia store (see link below) and just about everywhere else that waffle weave microfiber towels are sold on-line (if you aren't sure they are the ultra-soft ones, make sure to check the description/picture or call and ask if they are). i've been using the same ones i got from CG's years ago when they first came out and they have held up very well...

I bought this what looks like the same one from this site (link) for $10.99. Actually, I got 3 so I really only paid about $8 ea.

If they are soft it's a great buy!

The foam-core WWs are amazing and at that price you get it cheaper than e 'regular' WW.

I have the Guzzler HD from Autogeek but it's too small for proper drying and expensive.

Guzzler - 16x24 @ $20

GuruFiber - 25x36 @ $11 :xyxthumbs

Foam-core WW is the future of drying if they bring the price down, and these guys seem to have done it (provided the quality is up to par).

Thanks for the link. Let us know how they compare.

It looks very similar to the towel I purchased: Big ol' Waffle Weave Drying Towel

In person, the towel I got looks identical to the Guru fiber.

I'm not positive, but it may be a poorboys towel (or atl least PB sells them as it seems a number of places sell the same towel but under a different name). The shop in the link I posted is somewhat local (~15 miles away) and just when over to the owner's house to pick up some supplies. Anyways, he sells Poorboys, Menzerna and Optimum products and his towels are majority poorboys. Picked up the WW for $10. Next time I make it over there, I'm picking up a few more because I LOVE them!

i have a few different foam-core waffle weaves and i just do not care (too cumbersome) for them...
