ive got an 08 vw rabbit, got it silver this time, last car was a black accord. PITA to keep nice. after about a year of doin things to the best of my ability it needs a bit of polishing. got some light swirls on the rear panels and some on the roof.

i wanna take advantage of the sales all these sites have for the holidays while it lasts.

definitely in need of a da polisher, and im already gettin some ONR, stupid water restrictions in the desert, to wash.

i was wonderin if anyones had any experience with this car and if you guys can help me out a bit with some polishes, sealants and lsp's id really appreciate it.

Maybe hit it with some Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze, followed up with #81 hand polish, seal with M21 and lsp with Pinnacle Paste Glaz.
 
after doin some more reading, and searching, im thinkin about hittin it with some klasse aio and then some collinite 476 as an lsp just cuz its readily available at the local harbor freight.

any thought are greatly appreciated

There's a Christmas miracle; that stuff is hard to find and when you do your going to pay.

If you need/want a DA the Flex is on sale @Detailed Image for $250 and that's a killer deal. Or you can pick up the Porter Cable buffer for $105 AND the ONR is on sale too (same store). The PC is just slower/weaker compared to the Flex but very reliable.
 
yea im really diggin the flex but a bit too pricey for me, still goin to school to get my degree so of course im broke. but someone recommended gettin the megs g110 over the pc cuz its got a bit more torque but with those sales on the pc im wonderin if its even worth it.
 
To increase the PC's cutting ability use smaller pads, something like 5'' or 5.5'' pads. Some even use 4'' pads.
 
yea that makes sense, just concentrating the same amount of heat/force.

thanks for the advice and quick replies.

after doin some shopping cart comparisons i think i may go with the g110 package from AG instead of the pc from DI. it comes with more pads too for less dinero. plus i got the ONR and the kaio and a new wash smitt and all for less than less stuff on DI.

my first car was a 1979 VW Rabbit carolina blue, diesel and got close to 45 - 55 mpg and was a LOUD car! you could here me coming from a mile away! Loved that car, shame I totaled it.
