hello,

i've been lurkin' for a while and thought it was time to say hi.

i'm an inexperienced detailer, or perhaps a detailer in training is more accurate.

the bulk of my experience has been with the typical "generic" waxes like nu finish, turtle wax, rain-x wax, etc.

although i stumbled upon mothers clay and tried that a couple of months ago. that was a pleasant surprise to a first time clayer.

the clay turned into the use of mothers 3 step system, the pre-wax cleaner, sealer/glaze, and the carnuba wax. i was extremely pleased with the results.

my patients are a green'95 grand prix, black'99 z24, and a black '03 silverado.

i still have lots of reading to do so it may be a while before i post again, but just wanted to say hi.

Hey Jeremy, Welcome aboard.

I think at one time we all used products like Nu-Finish and Turle Wax.

Now that you got the "detailing bug" you'll learn a lot here.

Of course you'll need to get a second job to pay for all the stuff you read about !!!

Buy a rotary, some pads, and the Menzerna triplets, then head to a junkyard and find some fenders that have been sitting there for awhile and start practicing!!! welcome aboard!
