Hello-sale of the year!

I was doing a little shopping tonight at one of the sponsors, and low and behold on the front page I saw a sweet surprise!!! Best price I have seen since I have been using this product!

lol I love how crazy we are. A wax goes on sale for $50 bucks and we start to drool. The average mad waits for their $3 wax to go on sale before jumping on it. lol It's like getting excited that the $300,000 car you have been lusting after is down to $289,000. lol

That's a great deal on Souveran. If I used it more often then I would probably get some too.

Heh - the $63 question, or in this case, $50. I think for $50 it's a good deal considering how long it lasts, if you have a red or black car. That said, Natty's Blue can be had for what? $18? And is pretty damned close to Souveran.

Natty's is close but Souveran is wetter and remains something special. It's worth every penny to me. Not much more than a container of Menzerna...

No disagreement there - it does look damned good.

Now that's something that is tempting! Souveran or SACDs? I must resist...I have detailing supplies coming out of my ears, LOL.

If anyone has some Souveran they want to trade, just PM me. I have lots of trade bait including Menzerna IP & FPII (both used once), 1Z polishes & Glanz Wax, SSR 2 & 2.5 (lots of both but not in original containers), S100 used once, UGE and more.

The way they make it sound, it's just like other paste waxes. If you polish first like they recommend and take out swirl marks, what's the difference with this?

I'm along the lines that this wax seems real expensive......How much better is it over Nattys?....I just have to think that in part its marketing....On ssale its 35 bucks more that's allot of cash....IMO

It's a good look -no doubt about it.

It's not durable, and IMO Natty's Blue is sooooo close that it just doesn't justify the price to me.

As a long time Souveran user, I couldn't agree with you more, MGM.

The one thing I don't like about Souveran is that it smells so good that bugs crave it. I waxed my car the morning of a car show one year and my car was surrounded by every gnat and bug in the park all day. They couldn't get enough of the smell. Other than that I won my class and drove home happy. :)

Trade Secret is nice, but I actually feel that Pinnacle Signature is closer to the qualities I love about Souveran. Signature is like the S100 of Pinnacle waxes. It just looks great on all colors. Souveran enhances dark colors more and Paste Glaze looks better on light. Given the choice between Signature or Trade Secret on a dark car I would probably go with Trade Secret, but I feel that Signature is close enough while being better looking on light colors. Basically I'm saying that Signature is a product I refill and Trade Secret is one that I'll just let run out.

Jngrbrdman

Totally off subject but I have been trying to figure out what your name means? :holiday:

Thanks

Long story short... it was the only way I could get my username to say Gingerbread Man back when I first got online with AOL back in 97. It would have been Gngrbrdman, but that was taken. This is all I could think of to keep it sort of like that. lol I've got friends who know what it means but they still call me 'Jungle Bird man' anyway. ;) That is kind of appropriate since I've had my bird for 15 years now. I don't mind that.
