I'm a DIYer - not a pro, but I take a lot of pride in the appearance (and performance) of my car. I recently sold the first US spec Mercedes Benz 190E 2.3-16, model year 1986, which I owned for 8 years. The pic below was taken last year.
My new baby is a 1993 Mercedes Benz 500E. As you may know, the 500E in '92-'94 was a joint venture between Mercedes and Porsche, trucked back and forth between factories during manufacture and hand-built over 18 days. The picture below was taken after a quick wash immediately following delivery, and is pretty rough. The car has now been clayed and waxed and looks much better (tires dressed, etc.), but I'm waiting for a new set of rims to arrive before I take some "after" shots.
