Hello from SF Bay Area

I've been lurking around here for a few months now, so I thought I would finally say hi. I started getting into detailing in April, well it started wanting to take care of the car the right way, then it turned into an obsession. I don't even want to think about how much money I've spent. When my supplies arrive, I now bring them directly to the garage, hoping my wife won't notice another box.

I have a "cool blue metalic" honda accord and a black honda pilot. I've learned a lot about taking care of my cars the proper way, but it seems like every day I learn something new.
 
Welcome to DC! we always love new members. The only think is you need to promise to post some pics of that ride when its all detailed. And good to see you have the addicition this is like a support group.. ok so we support you being ocd :D
 
I posted some pics on the Show Off Your Ride section. My wife would rather me be hooked on this, rather than something else. Even she is now noticing cars that look real clean out on the street. We can walk by a car and she'll make a comment about it. 6 months ago, she could care less what a car looks like. Even my 6 year old daughter understands the proper method of washing a car, from 2 buckets, grit guards, the whole bit.
