I am starting my collection as we speak. Just walmart stuff, and got a Griots buffer (still learning the terminology so pls be patient with me) with their starter pack on the way. I hope their wax is good.
1. How did you wind up at Autopia? Google (I think I was researching the best buffers)
2. What do you like most about detailing? Enjoying completing a good job with something to show for it.
3. What are your favorite products/processes and why? too new to answer
4. What's your dream car and why? I get it this week! 2011 5.0 black Mustang! Why? American Muscle.
5. What's the best thing you learned on Autopia? Only 3 days of lurking. Very overwhelmed atm
6. What are some of your other hobbies and interests? P90X, dodgeball dogs.
7. Do you have any pets? If so, types, names, pics. Franklin (after Ben Franklin) Johnson American Bulldog- Mina (after Bram Stoker's Dracula) Boxer
8. Name three secret techniques that you think you should share to fellow Autopians. I got nothin
9. Where are you from and where do you live now? From PA, live in NH
10. What was you first car and what got you interested in keeping cars perfect? First car was a terrible 1985.5 escort. Got interested in keeping cars perfect bc I have a new Mustang on the way. Got interested in detailing bc I got my current car detailed to trade in and I was SO impressed with his work, I wanted to learn how to do it.
11. What motivates you to detail? Something to show for a job well done. Clean cars feel better. Dare I say drive better?
12. Would you ever pay someone else to detail your car? Did it. Now it is my turn.
13. Does detailing run in the family at all, or are you the only normal one? I want to be a normal one.
14. What is your favorite part about detailing? too green to answer
15. If detailing is a hobby for you, would you like to do it full time, or do you feel that it would take the fun out of it? I would love to learn to do it full time, but I will only do on side.
