a ditto of KG really, not new to detailing, just decided to pop across and show some work off...
taken from Scotts own intro:
As Scott says we use Pinnacle SR and a 4 inch cut pad (Megs Speed Glaze and polishing pad tester didnt touch it)
Followed with Pinnacle XMT Finishing Glaze using finishing pad, and topped by hand using DP Max wax. I've only used this wax twice now, once on my Altea, and today.
Its a very wet looking wax indeed.
Here's the befores:

some extra after shots:
I wish we had had more time, we could have got improved results.... not bad in four hours on such a big car tho...
taken from Scotts own intro:
I contacted Iain Brown of Finer Details (www.finerdetails.co.uk) to see if he would demonstrate how to use a PC 7424 and provide knowledge on how he deals with paint defects, etc
So this morning I went to visit Iain with my 200 - we had a good chat for over an hour with Iain demonstrating various techniques to me with the PC then letting me loose with his PC and products on my own car
I have to say I am totally amazed at just how GOOD these machines are... ALL of my micro swirling (caused by washing) is now gone... the paint finish is simply mirror reflective and the funniest thing is that Iain says the bonnet / roof and boot can be improved upon with time
We were pushed for time due to the fact I had to be home for 2.30pm so we basically did:
- De- swirl with Pinnacle swirl remover
- Used an all in one product called Pinnacle XMT (I think!)
- Finished with carnuba wax
It looks so 'wet' and reflective its amazing
Anyway here are the pics - no sunshine here but take it from me it looks better in the flesh ...
