The Bell 430 is an American twin-engine light-medium helicopter built by Bell Helicopter.

Helicopter was polished and coated with Everglass Platinum + Vector Edition.




This work took 60 hours in 6 hands. we were very exhausted.

Worked with standard polishing compounds. Lacquer on a helicopter seemed to me like a Porsche Cayenne, "my favorite." :oB)

Wow, that is awesome! How much polish and coating (Everglass) did you guys go through?

Very nice looking results, like the color.
 
Freaking awesome! Do you care to share what compounds, polishes and pads you used? Did you take any paint readings? I would be curious to see if they are similar to ranges on cars.

thickness of paint about 300mircons. I do not know how much it in mils... )

compounds... heavy cut from Menzerna FG400 and Koch Chemie Heavy Cut 8.02 compounds. middle cut - Mirka T10 or Koch Chemie FEINSCHLEIFPASTE. AH Koch HOCHGLANZ-ANTIHOLOGRAMM- POLITUR . Worked with rotors - Flex and Makita, and with bigfoots at the finish stage. All on yellow and orange pads (middle)
This varnish like cayenne type. very soft on finish and not good on cutting.

This was really cool to read, and I can only imagine how much work it actually was. Looks great!

I, for many reasons, think the Bell 222 is a cooler helicopter though...
