They forgot to charge me the other $30 on my $32.32 bill. Got Lexol Cleaner, Lexol Conditioner, 2 lexol applicators, and 12oz of 303 protectant for 2 bucks. lol :woohoo:

This is something you're proud of? Getting something on sale is one thing but shorting them $30.00 ? Not my style.

Say what you want, it's theft by omission. If they overcharged you and you paid it but discovered the error later, would you think it was fair? Remember, "As the consumer it's our obligation to pay what we are charged."

Tom

Not to mention the fact that the clerk will come up $30 bucks short and will likely get in trouble for it. But hey, who cares it was their fault right :nixweiss

Yep, they should have been more careful

have you even worked retail before? The only way they could check this is they run inventory on a daily basis, and back that inventory up in comparison to each register. I paid with a debit/credit card. so they were not short cash at all.

i'm sure the place i was buying from as the largest performance parts reseller in northern california isnt hurting that i got lexol and 303 for 1600% off.

Well, that's cool. They have your card number. It will be easy to figure out. They can just electronically deduct it from your account.

well they will probably catch it if they balance the register out to the credit sales. My work doesnt do this, which is why you can only catch it through inventory.

so they catch me...big WOOP. i almost got free **** then.

i wouldnt call it theft....and i would take the 'deal' too and run away....but....to come on here and brag and gloat about it???? hmmmm.

one word - Karma

At the end of the day you have to live with yourself. I would never presume to tell ANYONE what to do, I just know what I would do.

PS you can't get something for more than 100% off. You "paid" originally 7% of the actual cost.

It's called stealing. Getting away with it doesn't change anything. Neither does bragging about it or rationalizing it.
