Headlight Lens Resoration

depends on where your located at and what demographic you are attracting. Myself, I charge 25 per headlight.

Headlight restoration constitutes about 1/4 to 1/3 of my business. I charge 69.95 + tax for a retail customer, and $ 50 for a dealer or a fleet business. With that being said, figure out what your process is, the cost of materials, and a fair labor rate. There are guys around me charging alot less to "restore lenses", but I know that no one does what I do, I am able to market on that fact. Also - I am mobile!

When you guys are restoring headlights, do you do anything special; or just the tried and true 1k, 2k, 3k, compound, seal route? Just curious, I normally just do it as a part of larger jobs but have considered offering it as a stand alone service.

Price would be base on the level of correction, whether is it a job that require you to sand from 300+ gr all the way up and seal with a dedicated lens coating or just a basic cleaning and seal with normal sealant.

I have a new mobile detail business and wanted to offer the service. I like what all of you said and I'd like to say thank you for your input! I was actually thinking about $59.99 + tax. I am out of Bonney Lake, Washington and being a mobile business makes it ( lens restoration ) a feather in my cap.

Do you service all kinds of cars? Or the price still depends on the car model or car make? Do you install customized headlights? Do you sell the headlight switch?
