HD UNO Liquified?

Hey guys... Ordered HD UNO V4 for the first time in December for a detail on my friends car and I LOVE it! Works so much better and is easier to use than M105. I'm still on the original bottle with probably 3/4 of it left, but today I went to use it and was somewhat disappointed. When I went to pour a small amount on a LC pad, it poured our quickly and was all liquidy. I have left it in the garage all this time and it's been relatively cold this winter, but is anyone else having these problem? All my other polishes are fine except for UNO. Is there really short shelf life for this product? I went ahead and used it on my LaminX films, and it worked, but I'm beginning to wonder if it has been compromised for paint in terms of effectiveness?

Should I contact 3D about this?

Same thing happened to one of mine that I ordered in November. Contact Ben@Autopia, you can PM him on here.

I had other products do this...I think it is separation. The bulk will settle and the "finer" liquid, sits on top so this is why it pours.

1. Put it all in a mixer. (PUN intended)

2. Shake it periodically. This is what I do when not detailing frequently.

3. Detail more frequently.

Not sure it's a problem since it sat and they (chemicals) might do this. However, Ben has GREAT customer service so let him know- pretty sure he'll see this thread. :)

My interior protection product does this, but it's as easy fix. Shake and mixed. No heavy base, but it does separate when sitting for a while.

Rob, did you ever use Uno w/ the MF pads? If so, how did it do for you?

In about 30 min. I'll try it out. I have a bunch of stuff set up, including the new Opt. MF pads. Two other detailers are cruising over. I'll be sure to let you know.

if separation occurs, that usually means poor formulation.

any product that does this shouldnt be used. no polish should ever do this regardless of temperature, unless the formula is crap

We did have one bad batch that turned watery a few months after production. Uno should be of a creamy constancy. If you happen to have this batch, please pm or email me your name, phone, address, order number if you have it, and date code.

(The date is printed on the bottle directly above the label. It may be hard to read and have to see it at an angle in the light.)

We will send new bottles out to you.

Thanks,

Ben

I want to give a try and fell in love with UNO but with all those comments, it's hard lol!

I've read many positive comments on Uno, which is why I got it in the first place. You have nothing to worry about with a non-November '11 batch.

I don't want to be rude but I pmed last week.. it's been almost 2 weeks now. Will this item be replaced or what are we waiting here?

Thanks

I got a pm from you 2 weeks ago to check this thread and reply which I did.

Please pm me your contact info. I have not gotten it yet.

Ben is a standup guy. He rectified my issue a few weeks ago and sent me a complete replacement.

Thanks again Ben!

I'm starting to wonder if I got a bad batch. I bought three bottles, all three have separated periodically. I can shake them back to *almost* the original consistency, but not quite. I've also never been entirely happy with how UNO performs, which I have always found really odd since everyone *raves* about it. I'm sitting beside two of the three bottles now and both are the consistency of water. I'll snap a pic of UPC and U/L later. Will also PM Ben when I get home. I'd love to give UNO a fair shot and it'd be a shame if I was using a bad batch.
