HD Speed And Opti-Coat

I am wondering if HD Speed would be the right product to use for a light polish job on my Opti-Coated car? Obviously, I want to remove as little OC as possible, while getting rid of some minor marring.

I think that wOuld be a fine choice or you could use HD Polish. I'd make sure to use them with a very light polishing pad or even a finishing pad to ensure you don't remove too much OC.

I'll probably do the same thing next spring.

Thanks for the replies! Figured I'd start with a finishing pad and see how that worked. My other choices were Po85rd and Optimum Finish. Of these three products, I still have no idea which has the least cut.

I'd probably do test sections with each and see which gives the result you're after. I always like to KNOW I'm getting the desired result by comparing products and techniques rather than just figuring what I'm doing is best.

OP was actually wanting to use it to remove swirls from the OC itself, not before applying.

Yeah, I saw it now when I read it a second time...

I can always blame it on that english is not my first language :)
