HD Polish Plus And A Revised Method Of Application?

The last two times I used HD Polish I had some problems with it dusting that I hadn't had previously. I tried a new pad and followed the steps that have been posted numerous times on this forum but there was still some dust. I thought it could even be a result of old product.

While on the 3D site looking for some info on a couple of other products I came across this video:

The recommendation to spray the pad with HD Touch before applying product is new to me, as is the reference to HD Polish Plus. I remember reading some instructions posted by David Fermani, suggesting not to use any detail spray, but after watching the video I wonder if the spray helps reduce the dust. And even the way the pad is primed in the second half of the video is different, using an X pattern. Both of the pads being used look very soft, so I don't know how much correction they're adding, but the application looks effortless. I don't think I've ever had the polish react like that.

So is HD Polish Plus a new and improved version and is the detail spray now a recommended addition?

I haven't had ANY dusting with HD Polish+, but removal is not quite as easy as the original IMO. Still wipes off easy though.

Did you have any dusting with the original Polish, and do you use any detail spray or just the polish?

Thanks.

i just ordered a bottle of hd polish and when it came in, it had the + on it. im guessing they revised it and phased out the old polish

Ah. . . Just had a package come in this morning with the big bottles of HD Cut and Polish. No + on them :(

Yes, I get some light dusting with the original stuff. Never used a detail spray with it either. Actually this is the first time I recall seeing it mentioned.
