Has anyone used this product, I wanted to try it on my friends Jeep top?

It is a brand new product that was just released this week. So most likely no one has used it yet.

I would suggest looking into Cquartz Fabric & Leather Coat. It works on convertible tops as well.

Looks pretty similar to the CarPro version that's been out for a good while now.

Wolfs makes a great product as well. I have used both the leather sealant and textile sealant with good results. All I can tell you is most of these stink and you should work in a well ventilated area.
