my only true autopian experience involves my current experiments with BF and Z.
while i was burnishing the final BF after 3M RCFC, i noticed that the "rays" from the reflected lamp would change. i tested this. when i would move left to right, the ray was up and down. when i moved up and down, the ray was left and right.
this means that i was not removing all of the residual product regardless of the reason. i eventually removed it with a MF. this taught me 2 things. 1. i now have a reference for successful burnishing. 2. MF owns!
the 3M fine cut didn't completely blend the swirls or water stains. at least, finally, i don't have swirls anymore. i have half-swirls. they are like 1/8" scratches that were part of a swirl. but, i'm getting tired.
oops, i almost forgot. i think the haze that some posts are referring to is caused by incomplete removal of products regardless of the reason.
