i waxed the hood of my black car the other night..

today in the 100degree heat i saw haze all over my hood.. the entire hood is literrally covered in the cloudy hazy mess.. its really only noticable under sunlight certain angles

i used microfiber towels to remove any excess, and under the flourescent lights in my garage it looked clear

how can i remove this haze.. is it "below paint damage"?? or can i wash it off some how??

is it because i put too much wax or didnt remove excess completely??

can i use deep crystal paint cleaner to take it off?? i dont have any machines

help anyone.. thanks

The most basic explanation is you put the wax on too thick.

Try applying it much thinner next time.

Also, you can get rid of the haze by washing the car, or using a quick detailer and wipe the car down. Most major stores stock the Meg's QD and it works well at eliminating the haze.

You can use the paint cleaner, but you will have to re-wax. I wouldn't bother doing that, the aforementioned methods work fine.
