Having all your supplies and equip in a small suv verses a van

Currently I have two vans that I use for my biz, but with the use of ONR I can eliminate my pressure washer and 275 gal tank. I just have a generator, compressor, steamer, extractor, vac, rotary, pc, and random supplies to store now... Sounds like a lot, but I am pretty compact for what I have. With gas prices being what they are, I have been considering getting out of the vans next year and going to smaller suvs. Anyone fully mobile and have the same equip that I have without a van. Any thoughts? Thanks :getdown

I downsized from a E-150 and a E-350 both with 100 gal water tanks to a Ford Ranger with a 7 foot bed with a 50 gallon tank (only filled for short distances). I carry a Kipor generator (2800 watt and lightweight) and a Honda pressure washer. Truck seems to be handling the weight OK, but considering a 6 cyl. Ford F-150 in the near future. With all my other equipment being compact and lightweight its working out great with a cap with 3 sides that open for easy access. SUV should work, but checkout its payload capacity.

Thanks for the info. BTW your idea is classic. I am available as a camera man if I can hangout with the girls... haha
