The side looks okay but the front end is really ugly. Too many designs melting together and losing impact.



Patrick is right, GM needs to improve their design.
 
This is nothing more than an artists concept - while I like it ,(because I don't think its retro overkill like the new Mustang), it will probably be markedly different than this photo.
 
While I'm not trying to start a fight here, I think the consensus so far it that the car is a mess. It's just trying to be too much. Artist's concept it is and if any of the current cars (C6 excluded) are an example, well.....
 
Oh well, I tried. You've mistaken me for liking everything that Honda makes which couldn't be further from the truth. I own three of them because well, they work and work well. They don't depreciate like rocks and the styling of their cars for the most part tends to be rather timeless(take a look at an early 90's Accord, Legend, NSX.....) and have been rather reliable. To stick the Ridgeline in there is an attempt to flame me but it won't work. Don't be sore that the "artists concept"(that's all it is) is a bit on the busy side. I am a big fan of the old Camaro's but this car is just the wrong way to re-introduce this car.
 
I'm a huge F-Body fan, but that camaro, well, its kinda like the 80's Mustang hatchback IMO. I knew they couldnt keep the camaro away for too long, but come on, you would think for the reintroduction they would go a little more old school. Maybe not, who knows, maybe ppl will really like it
 
The front is too bold for what it seem like a smaller body. The lines really make the car seem very unclean. It's got a huge nose, tiny ears, small body, and big rims. Hopefully this would be changed by the time it releases.



They did a great job on the new Corvette IMO, and the upcoming Pontiacs looks very nice (G6 coupe, convertable, Solstice, and the SUV). If they release the new camaro looking like that, it's REALLY gonna be the last generation camaro.
 
I agree the C6 Vette is a very nice looking car. But that Camaro is, ummm, well..... "Cartoonish"! The proportions and design themes are all over the map and it does not look right. Im a Ford man, but I like the Camaro/Firebird because competition is good. But why doesnt GM do something new instead of "copy" Ford by reintroducing an old model design? But on that note I do have to say I like the new Mustang and am seriously considering putting a deposit on the 06 (o7?) SVT Shelby Cobra.
