3. wax remove i use some terry bonnets on my Pc or micro bonnets is the terry better to use first then micro after.? Also should i use the wool pad to fit the bonnets over or will the foam pad work just as well.??

4.Pc speeds

A. use of say AIO, DACP, Megs #9, what speed to use to apply and remove.been set at 4 to 6 range depending on what i am trying to do.

B. wax to put on and take off . i usually use 4 to put on and take off .

just trying to refine how and what i do. I know you all have more experience than i do.

Thanks for any answers that may come this way.

One last thing if you know or have seen the type of paint i have on my car it changes color as you look or move around the car its a ford factory paint from dupont special edition car 40th anv model mustang cobra. which products do you think will give the best results been using the twins 2xsg and finish with megs #16 it looks very good but we all know we want better.

My friend has the exact same car as you, and it really doesn't matter what LSP you go with, they will look good. I, personally, don't care for SG too much so I think I'd opt for something like WG instead which should give you the most *shift* in paint color, and skip the carnauba step. Just my opinion.

Don't use terry at all, and when removing product I only like to do it by hand not by machine. Get some good plush mf towels for product removal. You shouldn't have to use a 50/50 spray to remove SG, and if you do then one of two things are happening: 1) You are using too much product, or 2) You aren't letting the SG cure long enough before removal. One of the biggest reasons I don't like SG is because it's so hard to remove. You have to get a *very* thin layer on your car to be easy to remove and you can also remove it immediately after it was applied. If you don't remove it immediately then wait at least 30-60 minutes before removing.

PC Speeds: (My opinion) AIO = 4-5, Polishes = 4-6, LSP Application = 3-4, and I don't use it to remove anything.

I use MF bonnets to remove both polishes and LSPs. I use them over foam, not wool. PC speed between 3-5, which is a wide range so just see what works best for you. I've posted comments about a few different MF bonnets on another thread just today, so you might look it up.

No way would I use terry bonnets on automotive paint.

I have one from Groit's

Pro's- you wet the foam that surrounds the clay to keep it lubricated, it makes claying faster

Cons- I prefer the 'feel' of using clay in your hand, that way you won't 'polish' any dirt particles into the paint surface
