Hating scratch X *gasp*

Am I the only one that does not seem to get good results from this? Maybe I apply it wrong or and just too lazy. I have used this product twice, once on my friend maroon car (really crappy paint), and once on the brother "purple" (blue) ranger today (decent paint). Each time I applied it with the PC (speed 5-6) used enough product, maybe more then enough. Worked it in really good, nice and slow. The sh*t wont go away or start dusting. It just hazes up, and spreads and spreads and spreads, and doesnt disappear. and it takes FOREVER to remove by hand.



Does the heat from the PC and the pad cause it not to work? I mean i really want to squeeze it all out into the trash. Whats the deal? and I missing the secret to this?

ScratchX is more made for hand use, but I don't see why it shouldn't be working with the PC (most people who use ScratchX by PC say it gums up). My guess is that you are using too much product.
 
Thats what I was tihnking after I goofed it up both times. But IMO most products should be used by a machine. the fact that it swirls it around so much it lets it REALLY work it into the paint.



I dunno, makes sence but at the same time it doesnt. Maybe I will try it by hand next time and hope for the best.
 
Megs reformulated ScratchX to be used by PC, but unless you have the new version, it will gum up very badly with a PC
