Anyone care to translate? :grinno:

I tried it on a little piece of my dad's garage queen ('92 Lincoln Towncar) and it looks pretty wet IMO. I can't wait to try it on a properly prepped car. Anyone ever try this stuff?

Tomorrow I'll try my best to test it out. I'll do a side by side comparison with Pinnacle Souveran and again with Natty's Blue. I'll also be using Klasse AIO as the base (Post VOC).

Elusive- It say warning you may become addicted and find your self waxing more(layering) often...the shine, gloss, depth will blow you away like no other.........Be Cool be Sexy, like me :grinno: j/k on the translations part

i have not tried any soft99 product yet but i will try soon there claybar once i finish up my current stock or unless someone finds the a softwax product that on par with the highly sought after expensive waxes....

i have a local Super autobacs they have an aisle dedicate to soft99 dont think they have everything they make but it sure fun to go in there...

well i know that wax you have in your possesion is for dark color cars with pearls/flake/metallic, again i have tried products that claim they are specific for colors but found the wax to be the same again i make no claim on this .....

give us a review :xyxthumbs

Haven't tried it, but Soft99 puts out tons of waxes, and a lot of them seem to be the same contents with different packages and names (as best as I can tell); I've never found any of the ones I've tried to really stand out.

By the way, the front of the can say roughly "Brings out a beautiful shine on Pearl and Metallic paints"

The lid is stardard safety warnings: "Not edible; if ingested, do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention; if it gets in your eyes, flush thouroughly with water; flammable - do not expose to flame; do not leave in direct sunlight or store in temperatures above 40 degrees C", etc.

I got mine from autobacs. I have tried the excellant and the premium. I think the US and Germany has Japan beat on waxes and sealants. Anyone let me know if I am wrong. But they are good waxes but not excelant IMHO......Zoom-Zoom

I haven't tried either of those, but I have to agree with your comment about Japanese vs. U.S./German products (as a generalization).

The Competitors:

Overall, Soft99 is not bad, not as slick as NB or PS, but it does look decent. My choice is still Souveran. Soft99 dusts more, its harder to remove, and smells awful, however I will still use this when I detail family and friends' cars because it does give a nice shine.

Now to get my hands on some Zymol Carbon.

All said and done at least the car is clean :grinno:

Tried it, And you will find the same with the Carbon. A good wax but does not excel in looks. I'll stick with PS. IMHO

You are a Canadian and still haven't tried the Victoria Waxes???

The Soft99 is right up there with Souverän in clarity but on certain details I could detect a tad more wetness with the Pinnacle. But definitely a great look when you consider the price factor.

Agreed with Bence, Victoria waxes with give you a run for the money - one of my favorites (along with Zymol Concours, CG 5050 and souveran).

Mr_Elusive,

Where did you get it from? I have family in T.O.

I purchased it at Pacific Mall (Kennedy & Steeles). It costs $18 CAD, so its pretty cheap.

Bence and ashsarna, I think i'll have to give the Victoria Waxes a try now...

Thanks, I know where that is (good asian food there too :o ).

Give David Sr. a call at Victoria wax. You get so much more insight into his waxes (and waxes in general) talking to him than simply ordering from the site.

A little thread resurrection here...

I put a coat on the car since I don't have time to give it a full polishing job...

This is after 1 ONR wash (I was at a friend's house showing him how it's done)

For the price, I must say its pretty damn good!

Great pics. soft 99 is pretty good.

The only soft 99's I have are the dark and metallic fusso and premium authentic (3 cans)

Friend went to japan and bought me a stack of products.

the pearl and mica wax would be perfect for my mica metallic paint.

One of you stated that you have super auto bachs in cali have some soft 99 gear but I rang the stores and they stated that they did not stock soft 99 car care products

I do like fusso coat F7 and micro foam shampoo. color evolution with moose wax is a killer wet look combo on my bus.

there is a store at pacific mall called posh auto shine that sells products

the king of gloss wax and shampoo plus water block shampoo might be nice

Glaco roll in is still sitting on my shelf too.
