Has anyone tried the Montana Boars Hair Car Wash Brush?

I like using a brush because it gets the cracks and crevices way better than mitts do, but believe it or not, I've had problems with them marring the paint. If you use them at a wrong angle or with too much force, (I'm talking about the store bought ones now) they do have the tendency to marr the paint. I'm tempted to buy one, but $100 dollars for a brush? It better kiss my feet in the morning...

Looks so soft

I bought one (not the one in the pic) never had the guts to use it on JB BMW, so it never got used

either she or her lawyer have temporary custody so I can't give ya an answer

i use the long brush on my conversion van and the wheel brushes on all my vehicles. however mine is wider than a five gallon bucket so i purchased a container from lowes big enough to allow the whole brush to sit completely in the soapy water. after reading your review i'll have to try it on the soft paint of my wife's bmw.

If used properly it will not scratch *most paints. Why the asterisk? Because some very soft paints will scratch when a microfiber towel is wiped lightly across the surface.

That was a great review, thanks Evan J. I would have never of thought of using CDs as an example. I think I might give the boars hair brush a shot.

Don't thank me I just knew where to find it. Swanicyouth definitely did a fanatic job on that review and was certainly worth sharing.

I love the brush (10" model) and its all I use on my SUV. It feels awesome off the pole in your hands and works well. It also rinses 100% clean. It probably could scratch some crazy soft paint that any other thing could scratch as well.

The brush is built well and takes abuse and use. The pole is crap. I use another pole for the roof and windshield. Basically, its the way to go for large vehicles or SUVs.
