Has anyone tried HD Speed vs. (other AIO)?

As much anti-AiO as I am, my D151 is pretty decent at correction and I was curious to see if anybody has tried the new HD Speed and could compare it to an experience with other popular AIOs (in this case I'm hoping to find some D151 comparisons). Durability isn't that important considering most/all of us use a spray wax with AIOs as well so it'd be hard to get a real feel for its protection, but I'm curious about its cut mostly.

Just asking. From the way you speak about HD I assumed you were part of their marketing or something.

I guess I'm part of their marking team, it is called free advertisement

I just really like the line,

Man, imagine coming on here reading my posts

and finding out that I was just pushing the product

What would that make me? Please try giving me a little credit.

I now carry 3 items in my car for polishing. UNO SPEED and POLISH.

Maybe you should try any of them and you would understand.

Don't take it so personally, it was just an observation from your posts about the line. I'm actually purchasing those three and perhaps the Poxy today, so your reviews have worked, at least on me.

I think a lot of us can easily look like shills for a certain product that we really love. As much as I promote ZAIO, you'd think my name was Sal. You have to give folks a certain amount of respect though, it would be very foolish for someone like Thomas to shill a bad product, in the end it hurts his reputation.

I'm not taking it personally, simply pointing out that accusing someone of schilling when all you would have to do is look at any of my C&B details from the last 2.5 years. All I have used is UNO

Between you and I, it makes no difference to me if you or anyone buys 3D products due to my enthusiasm - that is not my intention. I need money on the table at the end of the day, and it comes from detailing.

I don't think I was accusing you of anything, just simply asking a question, a harmless one I thought. Either way, thanks for your reviews, just made my purchase. I hope to have the same success you have had.

I don't think I was disrespectful in my simple question, but if I was, my apologies.

Many people come on to the website, read a couple of posts, then ask a question thats been answered a hundred times before or make judgements that are just not near reality. People need to use this site as a resouce with the understanding that all of you pros devote your time as a favor to all of us.

If anyone spends a little time reading your posts (past and present) it is quite clear you do not work for 3D, but that you objectively evaluate 3D products and give honest opinions. If positive posts indicate someone works for a particular company how many here could be accused of working for Megs because they use 105/205??

I for one look forward to your posts as I feel UNO makes so much sense for the weekend detailer to buy and learn one product rather than two or three products that just make the process that much more complicated. Keep the great info coming!!!!!

Getting back to the OP question, I'd like to hear some feedback as well.

With the product finally shipping, hopefully the feedback will be coming in as soon as this weekend.

For those that talked about shilling, take this for what its worth.

I personally hate shilling. We do give out products occasionally for people to beta test, but we want their honest results. Both good and bad. If they post, thats optional and up to them. It's not required. We dont pay or compensate them other than the product.

If the testers just say, "oh this is the most amazing product ever", our products will never improve. We also wont let them beta test products in the future if they just tell us what we want to hear.

Does anyone know what kind of abrsives HD Speed uses? Are these diminishing or non diminshing?

Question on the protection part of HD Speed. How long does it last? I know you *can* put additional layers of protection on top, but do you *need* to? Does it look/protect the same as Poxy?

Thanks for any answers you can give!

Hi,it's impossible to know today, because HD Speed is only 1 month old in the market/pros and it has been started to be sold few days...protection is montana based as Poxy, and we can suppose 3 months, but I think we're in a mistake talking about it if our weather is not extreme.Maybe another products are better in duration,Thomas dKany have a very good opinion about it,here in Barcelona (Spain) weather is nice and rain is not a problem.HD Speed is so easy to aply and to retire that to use it is addictive:waxing::waxing::waxing:.Put a red pad on a dual action and speed 5 and check it...you have to do! incredible...

You can use also a green pad and high speed if your paint is a litlle bad worst...the same easy proccess.A lot of combos are possible and effective too.

We're suposing your paint is little damaged, where you would use another AIO now in the market. Not fillers please, real correction...with abrasives and wax/sealant.Check results with ipa and Speed but then you sholud re-aply,you know.

I used to work with Optimum poli seal in the same way t be sure I haven't left any deffect on dark colors,I polish a lot of old Porsche and rear fenders are difficult, but HD Speed is much better, believe me.Depending on your pad you'll be able to get incredible results.

Then 2 or 3 months should be ok,if you want a better result don't use Poxy on top,use Nitro...then you can give your honest opinion here again:lol1::lol1::lol1:

I love Speed :lock:

Bye from Barcelona!!!!!!!!!!
