I see a lot of questions about does this car have hard or soft paint, what pads should I use with what products? This drives me nuts! I have never heard Mike Phillips,Jason Rose,Rod Kraft,or Kevin Brown say this car has soft paint and that car has hard paint.what I have heard them say is do a test spot starting with the least aggressive method, paying attention to your technique and procedures and check your results. I know it is with the best intentions but unless they are working on the car with you,no one can tell you what will work. Manufacturers can change clears for numerous reasons during the same day, because of things like vendor changes, savings in the energy it takes to run the dry cycle, and any number of reasons. So I say use products you are familiar with and start easy and work up.Advice on pads and products is great, but there is no guarantee what worked for me on a Porsche will work for you?
so that is my 2 cents, agree or disagree that is what I love about this forum over the others, you can offer an opinion without problems!
