Yesterday on FORT HOOD, 7000 individual boots were placed on the front grounds of the the 3 Corps head quarters. A single rose placed in each boot of fallen soldiers from wives of the Gold star family. What an awesome tribute to our Soldiers.

My Dad was a Marine (4th Division) on Iwo Jima during WW II so this day always has a special meaning for me.
