Happy Birthday wendell jarvis

I accidentally dripped a drop of EF HI cleaner on my new floor jack

Brad B. has the same jack.
I didn't relize it until too later. I tried to wipe the residue off the jack and off came the paint, right down to the bare metal.

Before I noticed this I decided to try and clean the door jams on my Jet Black '95 BMW 318ti Club Sport. I was in kinda of a hurry and sprayed it on the door jams and door sill. Wiped it down and rinsed off with water and a wet rag. Now I have noticed that there is a slight haze on most of the areas that were cleaned.

What did I do and how do I get rid of the haze!
Please help me!

thanks

This happened to me with Simple Green. These powerful cleaners need a little more respect from you.

Any polish will remove the spots on your paint. The strong cleaners have dulled the clearcoat. This happens all the time at automatic car washes and those coin-op joints.

Next time spray the cleaner on a clean towel *away* from the car prior to cleaning a panel and you'll avoid any mishaps.
