Recently removed cleaned and polished the inside of all rims. Made a huge difference to the overall look of the vehicle. Literally days later they are filthy with brake dust and road grime.

Is there a product that can be applied to the inside of the rims so such debris could be simply hosed away. Access to this part of the wheel is impossible with out removal.

Thank you.

Waxing the wheels with a durable sealant will go a long way in helping the situation but there is no "magic" answer. Investigate low dust brake pads, they make a huge difference.

Rain-X wheel protectant (if they even make it anymore) will prevent brake dust from adhering to your wheel. But the problem is you have to reapply it after cleaning the wheel. It works wonders but you do you get it in on there. I thought about putting something like spray mask in there, but I ended up trying out a patch of a thin layer of rubber cement on one of the inside parts of my wheel, after I Klassed it 3 times.

My wheels are sorta worth money (painted stock alloys) and if I keep them in good condition I could probably sell them and use the money towards nicer ones.

I have polished aluminum wheels, should I polish these, then dawn, then apply Zaino? I was thinking about doing this, but after it rains, my rims are dull again. Will the Zaino help prevent the dulling?

A sealant will help. You'll be able to get most of the dust with your hose, and will only need to scrub the insides (I use a bottle brush- does a good job, and you don't have to remove the wheel) every 2-3 weeks.

You are right about the appearance. WOW! What a diiference!

<strong class='bbc'>Rain-X wheel protectant [/b]</blockquote>I knew you were going to say that :D

I've applied Klasse (AIOx3, SGx3) inside and out on my clearcoated wheels, and they clean very easily with a home-made terry cloth 'glove' using carwash solution. I'm lucky in having wheels that are relatively easy to reach into, to clean the inside. I take them off every few months to give the insides a thorough cleaning.
