A couple of Autopians brought this up but there was no closure to it. I emailed Sal and he confirmed it. Zaino Z-2 has been improved, but he didn't specifically tell me what it was. Here are the posts:

Just thought this was very interesting information that people might want to know about! I believe this is a rather recent change so some local suppliers may not have the new Z-2 yet as they are still selling stock.

Thanks to these astute Autopians for catching this! I'll be buying my Zaino direct for sure.
 
OK, the cat's finally out of the bag, so to speak. Sal has been developing and testing a new Z2 for quite a while. It's benefits are supposed to be an even higher shine, greater durability, etc... I believe Sal is always searching for ways to improve his products so that they remain first class. This newer formulation Z2 should prove to be quite stunning! I'm not actually sure if he's shipping it yet though....

I got my Z2 in January direct from Zaino. Does that mean I got the newer or older version of Z2? I've never used Z2 so I'll never know the difference. When did you guys get your newer versions of Z2s?
 
WoooHoooo.

I can see a race going on to put on the most number of Z2 coat in the minumum amount of time so everyone could use up their old bottle and try out the new formula. I am sure ZFX sales will increase from now on:xyxthumbs
 
Someone once mentioned to me that he was testing "Z2-Pro". I thought he was BSing me.



I have been using Z5 exclusively but may give this enhanced "Z2" a look. Will it be sold as a seperate product or just be sold as the current supply of Z2 runs out or is it currently shipping?
 
No, it won't be a new product or another addition to the Zaino line. It's a reformulation of the older Z2. I believe Sal is shipping some of the new stuff.



Keep a close watch, Sal is coming up with even better goodies in the future that you won't believe possible!
