HAPPY 4th of July to ALL!!!!!!!!

RANDAL

IOWA BOY
Ill be in Exira at he towns 138th annual 4th of July parade. Ive got 2 vehichles to clean up before the parade starts, my folks 66 Thunderbird, and a new chevy pickup pulling the float Im involved with. The town has only not held a 4th of July parade once in all that time, 1958 it rained and rained from July 1st on. Some had 5 gallon pails outside and they were filled from the rain. 12 or 13 people lost their lives back then, ( it was before my time). This year they are honoring the survivors who helped save lives by having them as grandmashalls of the parade. Maybe next you guys and gals and come out and see what we do in small town IOWA. :)

Happy 4th Randal and to everyone ...have a safe and fun holiday:rockon:ra:excited::excited::party::thewave::thewave:

Have fun in Exira!!! Coming from a small town just to the north of you I can relate to small town Fourth of July celebrations. In fact I wish that I were in Iowa to celebrate the Fourth. If my memory serves me correctly it was always hot and definitely fun. Right up to the fireworks after sunset.

Have a great time Randal...take some pics if you can!!

We have a local parade here in Penngrove CA...real small town as well, vintage cars, motorcycles, tractors, military marchers, then a BBQ in the park right after....We are getting together with the neighbors in the hood for a ole fashion block off the street BBQ and fireworks show.

I want to wish all my fellow American's a great celebration of this wonderful nation that we live in.

Life, liberty, freedom and justice for all!!

Have a great time Randall. That is a lot of history.

I'm headed to Houston & Galveston.

Happy independence Day to everyone!

Happy 4th to all the members and their families here on DC! Remember to drink responsibly:cheers: and beware of the local piggies!

LITTLE PIGGIES? I was on the OPERATION T-BONE float, we grilled 170lbs of marinated sirloin cut into bite size peices and served off the float during the parade. Pictures, I dont take pictures! Had to use Spray and Wipe on the T-BIRD, and TRIM RESTORE on the vynil top, make quite a difference. Really like those green and gold MF towels from Poorboys world. Pickedup a chevy pickup to buff this month before the next show. Also some old Cragers to clean up, some rust on them. Still have fireworks tonight. Wife and monsters are going camping with gandma, peice and quiet for me.

I just came home with the fireworks. Our little cul-de-sac is having a get-together with chips, beer and fireworks tonight. It won't be a professional show, but we won't have to fight traffic. :)

Just played in a poker tournament and I'm exhausted. didn't make it into the money so I guess I had 5 hours of poker school.

Happy 4th to all of my fellow Ameircans!
