Handz Detailed: 2002 BMW 530i Sport E39 - Jet Black Paint Correction

I recently purchased a new Daily Driver. I picked up this 2002 BMW E39!!! Its a Jet Black 530i 5-Speed with Sport Package. Picked the car up for $3160. The car has 180,000 Miles and has HAMMERED BLACK PAINT.

The car needed alot of detailing work. Being a Jet Black BMW, it was full of scratches, oxidation, marring, and other stains that were reducing the gloss of the paintwork.

I decided to use the car to test out the New Rupes LHR21ES and LHR15ES Dual Action Polishers using the new Chemical guys Black Optics Microfiber Pad teamed with the V-Line of polishes.

Since I work 5 days a week 9-5, i decided to polish the car section by section for 3-5 hours each night. Ended up taking me about 4-5 days working little by little. The results were VERY good and the new Rupes Polishers work great at cutting and finishing Jet Black Paintwork. Now my craigslist daily driver has a mirror finish!!

I also used the car to film 2 video using the Rupes Polishers to show how i corrected the paintwork. I didnt get many before ****, but the video and the 50/50 should do it justice.

Major reconditioning on this one Greg! I thought you had a Honda as a DD? This one is much nicer. You young bucks are making us old schoolers look bad. :cooleek:

Yeah I had a Honda, but the 80 miles commute everyday to work really starts to wear you down in a cheap Honda with no A/C.

This car has Ice Cold A/C, is super comfortable, and makes the 80 mile commute feel like a breeze. Best investment I could have made for summer.

Update: I recently applied Chemical Guys Second Skin 6 Coating to add a higher level of protection to the BMW. So far, the gloss is enhanced and the paintwork resists water better.
