The owner of this car is a Good friend of mine. The owner Hired me to do Full paint correction on this car because, and I quote, "Handz Is Thug".



This Car is a DD. It has 120,XXX Miles on the Clock. Its lives its entire life outside and has gone through 2 motors. Car is beat on everyday in LA Traffic since Day 1 of Owning the car. Car has driven to vegas 10 or more times from LA and driven to mexico. Car sat in the Fresno dirt BS for a while.... So lots of work for me lol



This Car is the 3.9 V8 Model



Full Paint Correction Exterior with Headlight Restoration. Light wheel cleaning because they are Spray painted.



The owner helped me work on this job so we did it in a day and a half!!!



Silver is a PITA to find defects on and the Lincoln Paint is Rock hard.... It made this Job annoying.

The License Plate Has a Chrome Frame that is Totally Trashed!!! We cant remove the Plate frame from the Plate because its glued to the Plate itself because the Owner has a HUGE subwoofer in the trunk and it prevents the vibration. We decided to use some Semi Gloss Paint I had laying around to make it look better!!!

but seriously? wal-mart viva2 tires on a Lincoln LS V8? not even close to the right tire for that vehicle.

Owners Request not to clean or dress the Wheel wells. This car is a Beater and drives on dirt roads Alot.... So me and and the owner both decided to spend the time on other places since the car is going to vegas next month lol.
 
Nice turn around on the car!! It was pretty beat up. How do you like the CG paint polishes and pads? How does that metal polish compare to others that you've used before? The exhaust turned out very nice.



Are you taking a break from school and doing this as a living now?

Thanks, The car came out nice :woot:



I liked the CG Polishes. They worked nice. I honestly like menzerna polishes better, but these are pretty good. The metal polish is Legit. Its not as strong as 3M metal polish, but its more of a watery constancy so you could use it with a powerball.



I Wish I was doing this full time. I am still going to school, But i am on Spring break this week.

Yeah, that is a different story lol. for some reason i ran out of 3M painter tape and found some lying around the house.... It must have been like 20 years old because that stuff would not stick. It annoyed me the whole day :sadpace:
