Well, I work on a car wash as a detailer and my co worker was working on this expedition with a lot of scratches. He was using a rotary and saw how fast it cuts and effective it is. One of the problem he's doing is he kept the rotary tilted to one side and it slings a lot of product and the car has some holograms after he was done. So i asked him if i can work on one panel. So he let me but I couldn't keep the rotary to stay flat and it gets all over the place. How do you guys handle a rotary?

Keeping the rotary flat can be a pain; sometimes as it tends to kick every now and then. One thing is you might have been bearing down to hard. Next chance you get try to just guide the rotary and let the weight of the machine do the work. Plus I'd find something other than a customers car to practice on and your friend too if he's leaving holograms.:)
