Hand polish

I have a thin (1" wide) piece between my front and back windows. I "think" it's painted plastic. It's gloss black and had a bunch of tiny scratchs in it. It seems to scratch VERY easily. I'm looking for recomendations for a polish to use on it. I'm leery of anything too abrasive, and of using my PC on it. I was thinking about trying Griot's Hand Polish. What do you guys think? Has anyone used that, or is there something that would be better?

Thanks!

Bill

try some scratchx, it's pretty mild...

The most effective way to safely remove fine scratches and swirls...Now by hand OR with a dual action polisher! Our new and improved ScratchX® uses diminishing abrasive™ technology to safely and effectively remove fine scratches, swirls, and oxidation. As you work ScratchX into the surface of your vehicle, the abrasives diminish and your paint surface is polished to reveal brilliant color and clarity. Clear coat safe, ScratchX will not create new scratches and will not simply "cover" fine scratches as most conventional products do.

Cool, thanks. I bought a tube of Scratchx and I'll give it a try.
