Hammered VW Passat Interior/Exterior

I had a client bring me her VW Passat to see what could be done to it. It had major scratches, hazing and in areas, pronounced clear coat failure already. After taking paint readings, ranging from 75-90 microns, I told her that there wasn`t going to be much I could do for the scratches; and obviously nothing I could do for the CC failure. I told her I can try to get some gloss back and she was happy with that. The interior had tears in the carpet and heavy permanent stains on surfaces (looked like from someone using a cleaner and it staining the panels). I again, told her that there wasn`t going to be much that could be done and she asked if I can get it as good as I can. Overall, it came out pretty good.

Exterior:

- Wash with The Wax Shop Cherry Snow Foam and Iron-X
- Tar removed with Tarminator
- Polished with The Wax Shop Tune Up 3000 on a Uro Fiber Pad
- Sealed with Detail King STS3000

Tires/Wheels:

- Washed wheels with Detail King Brake up and Iron-X (Removed Heavy, caked on brake dust)
- Washed Tires with DK Tire/Whitewall Cleaner
- Treated Tires with DK Laguna Beach
- Sealed Wheels with Jade Ceramic Coating Spray

Interior:

- Cleaned all panels, crevices, etc with 50/50 woolite mixure and vapor rhino steamer
- Dirt was first loosened from all carpets with Tornador
- All carpets vacuumed
- Carpets steamed to loosen the carpet fibers
- Foamed with 50/50 mixure of DK Bio-Enzyme and Natures Way Cleaner
- Extracted with Mytee HP60 and my new Mytee Dry upholstery tool (beats the old metal one hands down)
- Surfaces protected with DK Pearl Gloss

- Glass cleaned with 3M Glass Cleaner

Scott, thank you...she was extremely happy. Although, I couldn`t get it perfect, she understood the condition and appreciated my honesty on what can be done and the limits that she could expect.
