Gummed Up MF Applicators - How to restore?

Player Appreciate!
I have a few MF applicators that are gummed up... tried washing but no avail. The microfibers seem to have gone into "corn rows" with each other (just like the hair do)... yet are soft.

I've heard about boiling them? Anybody know the straight scoop?

the easyist way to do it without mirco restor is to boil a pot of water, let the mf's boil in the water for 10 min, take out and dry. the reason they dont work is becasue you have plugged the pores so the boilig water opens the pores and lets the stuff out.

hmm i don't know it i would boil M/F I am guessing that you got that info from an Adams video?? aren't some of the fibers in M/F plastic? I am just taking a guess but boiling M/Fs will melt the plastic fibers, wrecking the M/F

ya i got that from the adams video but i have also tried it and like it. I got the idea from then but i tried it myself. I have had no problem you juust have to be very carful not to burn it

Boiling won't harm the fabric at all, during the weaving, dyeing, and finishing process the fabric is subjected to temps and pressure higher than anything you could do at home. However, if the applicaotrs have foam inside you can't do this.

For the future, always wash in hot water as soon as possible after use. Dedicated MF detergents are just repackaged degreasers, use regular liquid laundry detergent
