Freeze it. Compressed air from a computer shop or place an ice cube on the gum; the resin (sticky stuff-the tech terminology ) will then release its adhesion

Thanks guys.I did a basic wash on my first black car yesterday .A nissan altima.(I HATE BLACK)It showed every little nick and swirl. It had plenty of those. It needed a paint cleaning bad.
Anyway,I get to the inside and there is gum stuck to the backseat,I used one of my cleaners, and it got most off.I didn't want to continue rubbing and picking, fraid I might do damage to the leather ,but I told him I would get the rest off someway when I come back next week to do his truck.
Which he was very happy I got what I did off.It was there when they bought the car from a dealer.Apparently the dealer didn't even try to ge it off.
