So last night I noticed Grit Guard is finally selling the new washboard insert on their site for $12.99. Figured I'd pick one up to try out, do a review on using one, etc... until I saw the cheapest shipping option was $10!!! Sorry, on principle alone $22 is too much. I can wait till Autopia has them in stock. :p

We have one of the originals from Detail Fest, but haven't had a chance to try it out , let alone do a video or come to a final conclusion ... I was also told that there would be improvements to the original , but I have not heard anything yet ...

Another something I didn't know I needed until someone invented it. I'll stick with my old GG for awhile. It isn't all that "amazing".

The last half of the video is just car porn!

Isn't it though??? I didn't know you could buy a Pagani in the US. Wild.

I may take a spare grit guard and see if I can whack it up to do something similar.

I've thought about doing that too but decided it wasn't worth the effort. Do let us know if you come up with a workable hack :)

I know the actual shape should be more elliptical but will give it a try to just trim vanes.

The improvements shown in the video are exactly what was needed to the original design. People have mentioned that the washboard would slip or come loose. With these improvements I would definitely look to purchase when they are available from AG or Autopia.
