Positioning Spray, 4 Ounces & Squeegee - Griot's Garage

I want to get some of this to do my door jams. Would 3/8 inch be wide enough to protect or should I go with the 2 inch width?

Only you know how wide your jambs are. 3/8" sounds awful narrow to me.

Now, thinking the 2 inch and I could always reduce the width myself.
