I like their wheel cleaner better than P21s. Never used their leather products but everything I have used has always been first class. Give it a try.

I am also local to them, live in Mill Creek. I haven't tried much of their product, but their foam tire brushes are excellent (at least with the one time I used them last week). They are also very friendly, ask them about product and they will even demonstrate for you. I showed up on a day when the local Mini club and Camaro club scheduled a garage tech day. I learned how to use their DA (first time I saw any DA in action). I just wish they posted their local events online.

hrm i should be going down there then. im getting sick of the way my zymol leather stuff works, and im on the lookout for new stuff.

definitely getting the wheel cleaner though.

kchau- SInce Griot's is local to you, some of their "high cost" could well be traded-off against shipping charges.

I used P21S wheel cleaner for years before Griot's came out with theirs, and now the Griot's is my choice for a mild product of that type. Works OK diluted too, at least if the wheels aren't all that dirty.

As you mentioned leather stuff, their Interior Cleaner is very nice (about all I use regularly) and there's nothing wrong with their leather treatments (if you don't mind the luggage-shop scent).

Oh, and I really like their BHBs for wheels, and their little ("four finger" IIRC) sheepskin mitt for wheels is good for cleaning the back sides of wheel spokes, works better than I expected it would.

I'm currently looking for leather care products myself. Any idea how it would compare to Pinnacle?

Also, would Griot's wheel cleaner take off something like CG's Wheel Wax/Sealer?

Thanks!

I'm live about 5 minutes from their place. Pretty convenient, lots of product, and from what I've heard outstanding customer service. I've tried their DA and really like the feel of it. Probably a little better than my PC. I have had good luck with their carwash and QD spray. I've got some of their leather treatment and best of show wax but have not had a chance to try either one. I'll probably give both a try tomorrow and let you know what I think. Their WW works pretty well but IMHO is over priced. Their MF mits are nice and pretty reasonably priced and as stated above the little sheepskin finger mit is very nice for doing your wheels.

Why not just buy some of their leather treament products. They have lifetime guaranteed so if you dont like it you can return it no hassle. :)

The Pinnacle Leather stuff I have is thinner/creamier than the Griot's, which is heavier and more gel-like. The Pinnacle is lighter-colored too. Both smell about the same to me and I use them both.

Yeah, IME the Griot's wheel cleaner will remove, or at least compromise LSPs. Not as much if you dilute it, but if you want to preserve your wheels' LSP IMO you oughta just use a slightly stronger-than-normal shampoo mix (I use Griot's Car Wash in a spray bottle).

i just bought from griots:

wheel cleaner, sponge on a long stick for wheels, and "leather care".

using them tomorrow.

Griot's soap and their sheepskin mitts are my favorite. I also like the Undercarriage Spray. The WW drying towel is okay, but I prefer Pakshak's.

I like several products, and continue to use them for our cars: Car Shampoo, Speed Shine, Wheel Cleaner (I dilute it 50/50 and use it every other wash, regular car shampoo being the other method), Leather Care, and Interior Cleaner.

They work great for me which is why I stick with them. The only item I couldn't justify purchasing in the Gallon size was the Vinyl/Rubber treatment -- 303 works just as well ime.

the wheel cleaner works pretty well. its cheaper than the regular p21s and works jsut as well.

i found that their wheel cleaning "toilet sponge" works great.

I've been pretty happy with their car wash, wheel cleaner, leather conditioner, vinyl & rubber dressing, speed shine. I believe that's all I can think of off top of my head and I do like their AIO Paint Sealant. Does slight correction, but the product stays on for a long time!

Speed Shine is my absolute favorite detail spray I've ever tried. I never have streaking issues with it, and it cleans really well. It has a small amount of liquid wax in it so I don't use it between layers of sealant (unless I'm planning on washing), but man I like this QD.

Spray on Wax is a nice product, nothing exceptional but it works well and is nice to use when drying.

Best of Show - I really like this wax, but it has quite the learning curve. Gotta use a DA to apply it or it's a PITA, and I find it much more enjoyable to remove using a bonnet on the DA. It leaves an awesome finish and lasts a good couple of months (more with frequent Speed Shine and Spray on Waxing).

Interior Cleaner - I like this stuff so much that I use it around the house. Excellent product.

Leather Care - I don't like it as much as Z10, but I really like the spray version for quick cleaning/conditioning.

Carnauba Wax - nothing special here, but not bad.

Wheel Cleaner - a tie between P21S Gel and this for my favorite, but I usually keep this on my shelf.

V&R dressing - nice finish, ridiculous price

Long Lasting Tire Dressing - works just like the name says and is easy to apply as it's a little thicker than Z16.

Car Wash - awesome... nothing that hasnt been said about this to add.
