Crap! This would have been a nice deal considering just the polisher when I got it was $110. New speed shine and clay would be great too.

Pulled the trigger this time. Great deal. looking forward to doubling the power from the old Porter Cable. The porter cable will have to be relagated to wax duty.

By the way I am not a prime member and I got the deal with free shipping.

Thanks for the tip.

Just used my ne kit for the first time yesterrday. My sister in law was at my house and noticed some big scratches in the hood of her new car. I did a little 2000 grit sanding and polishing with Uno and my new GG machine and presto, no scratches and hood is better than new. Love the handle and extra power compared to the PC. The pad keeps spinning no matter what pressure. I was even using the GG 6.5 inch pad for the correction.

So the UNO with the GG pad finished down pretty well?

I'm trying to figure out which pads and polishes to use with this.

For the standard daily driver the orange griots pad finished well with Uno. The GG orange seams to be about the same consitancey as the new orange 3D pad. The GG pad is thick and large diameter so you really have to push on it to smash it down. The overall finsh looked great when I was done. I can't say enough good things about Uno. Uno took out the 2000 grit sanding marks and finished to a LSP ready finish. The only problem with the whole job was that all I did on the hood and the rest of the car is now lacking.

Maybe I should just get some UNO and see how it works with the Griot's orange pad before diving into new pads and backing plates and everything else.

Thanks for the info

So when you want to finish the UNO down do you just slow the polisher down? Start with 4-5 for correcting and slow to 2-3 to finish?
