Griots Car Wash VS Poorboys SS&S?

Has anyone compared these two products? Presently I use 1Z Perls which is outstanding but I want another high quality wash I can buy in a gallon size!

I have and used both shampoos...Griots and SS&S..and I prefer the Griots.

The Griots seems more gentle and better lube on the paint..wash mitt just glides over the paint and cleans with little effort...

but my favorite is Duragloss ..as good as Griots at half the price...but if you are deciding betwwen the Griots and SS&S..go with the Griots....it rinses clean...and a little goes a long way...

Interesting. Just as good lubricity-wise?

Yes..I think so....worth a try...get a 16oz bottle from Napa or carquest for 4.00 and try it...

Don't get me wrong..I like the Griots...and none of my other OTC washes compare to it ..But the DuraGloss did...if it wasn't for the scent of the Duragloss...I would think I have griots in the bucket.

Our water is very hard. I tried the Duragloss and to the touch it is the slickest carwash I've ever felt but in our hard water it lost a bit of its slickness. I loved how it rinsed clean and practically spotless. I found that NXT was slicker with our hard water but tended to waterspot some. I mixed the Duragloss with the NXT and it seems to be a very nice combo.

Accumulator, what is your opinion?

I don't have one :D As I haven't tried the DuraGloss I just can't say anything except that Griot's is the best I've ever used. That's why I was asking about the lubricity of the DuraGloss. The only thing I don't like about the Griot's is the expense (I go through a lot of shampoo) but I'm not gonna risk any marring by trying something else unless I have a good reason to think it's just as good.

So far it seems like the DuraGloss is "close" to being as good as Griot's. Interesting to me, and I'm still asking about it. But "close" isn't good enough for me to try it just to save a little money. If I still had the Volvo (or some other beater) around I'd give it a try but I don't currently have any finishes that I'm willing to experiment on.
