Griot's 6" DA $80 Shipped (New, sale only lasts for a couple hours)

That's a great price! With Prime, I don't even pay shipping.

My wife would kill me, but I'm not sure my PC is going to hold up much longer. :)

Is this a referral link for you? If so, I'd gladly give you the referral for pointing this deal out.

Great deal. I ordered the $129.00 deal from Amazon few days ago (Pads, Clay, Polish, Wax etc. included). My order is on the way, otherwise I would have jump on this one and cancelled the other one.

I was kicking myself when I saw that deal because I sent back my PCXP for a GGDA a few weeks before then . I'm really tempted to order another one of these as a backup during this sale...

If you guys have to submit a warranty claim should something happen to the DA, who will you submit it to? I didn't see the deal so I don't know who was actually selling the machine.

Amazon.com: Griot's Garage 10765STDCRD 6" Random Orbital with 10' Cord: Automotive

Its sent from Amazon it says, although Griot's Garage may cover all warranty work themselves. However, I've never had any problems with Amazon taking exchanges and refunds. Just read the warranty paperwork that comes in the box with the machine.

I would think, like anything you buy from any store, you submit warranty claims to the manufacturer. I understand it might be easier if you purchased directly, but considering it's #1 in a number of Amazon sales categories, I'd be surprised if Griot's gave people a hard time on warranty issues.

Gotta love next-day shipping :)

No referral of any sort, I just check out the Amazon lightning deals pretty frequently out of boredom :P

Where do you go to find the lightning deals...and can you look at just certain deals (automotive etc.)? Ever see any for a Makita...cheapest ive seen is $183...and thats what i need next to complete my collection

Hahaha, I'm not even sure where the case came from. I've used it to tote around photo gear in the past, so there were foam inserts originally. Velcro holds the backing plates and earplugs in place nicely. It's a tight fit, but they do fit.

For my pads and MF towels:

A couple of these Rubbermaid containers

For my polishes and chemicals, I have them all in a large version of those containers, but I was thinking of getting a couple more that size to split them up.
